Malaysia, ESRI South Asia Sdn Bhd is the official distributor in Malaysia for ESRI GIS
software systems. We are conveniently located near
Bandar Sunway in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. See Our

In
ESRI South Asia, we are committed to providing complete
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) solutions and
services. Our organization supports clients throughout
the process of establishing GIS systems, from the
initial user needs assessment, through software installation,
user training, data acquisition and automation, application
programming, and on-going consultation.
In
July of 1990, Bousteadco Ltd, a public listed company
based in Singapore, acquired a majority shareholding
in ESRI Australia and formed ESRI South Asia. ESRI
South Asia is a relatively young and debt-free company
built on strong foundations, and it operates its head
office in Singapore with operational offices in Malaysia
and Indonesia. Other countries that are covered under
our distributorship are Brunei, Bangladesh and East
Timor. The company is the consolidation of the extensive
expertise and resources of the ESRI distributors in
the South East Asia region.
The
company's primary strategic objective is to establish
and maintain the high-level of in-depth expertise
and industry-wide reputation for GIS leadership here
in this region, a feat that ESRI Australia continues
to enjoy in Australia, and ESRI Inc. USA continues
the same as world leader in this industry.
Building
on the technological and engineering superiority of
ArcGIS products, we continue to focus in the distribution
and marketing of our core business, and to continue
our efforts in providing all aspects of user support
and services to our users and business partners alike.
Special attention is given to education and training
to users of these two software technologies in order
to attain a high level of utilization of these GIS
tools. ESRI South Asia also offers services in the
areas of GIS consultancy and application development.
To
this end, ESRI South Asia has attained, and will continue
to doing so, the three strategic objectives:
- To
market and support the ESRI GIS software;
- To
establish a GIS production facility to support
its user base; and
- To
assemble the expertise with best-practice experiences
for GIS consulting services.
ESRI
South Asia employs GIS and geoprocessing professionals
from around the region. The management, consultants,
engineers and instructors brings years of experience
and expertise from managing and servicing its clients
in the region, particularly in Malaysia. Our locally
trained professionals also contribute years of image
processing and GIS experience. In addition, our qualified
professionals have backgrounds in computer science,
applied remote sensing, cartography, civil engineering,
geology, spatial analysis, and urban planning.
